Dr. Priya Baguant is the Dean of Amity Business School and an Associate Professor of Human Resource Management at Amity University Dubai. With over 30 years of international experience in higher education, she has held senior academic and leadership positions at the Higher Colleges of Technology (UAE), the University of Sharjah, and the University of Mauritius.

Her expertise spans Human Resource Management, HR Analytics, Global Human Resource Management, Leadership, Crisis Management, Diversity and Inclusion, Strategic Management, and Coaching and Mentoring. Throughout her career, she has led curriculum innovation, programme development, faculty advancement, and institutional initiatives, contributing to internationally recognised accreditation frameworks including AACSB, CAA, CIPD, and ACBSP.

A passionate educator and researcher, Dr. Baguant has published extensively in internationally indexed journals, with research focusing on human resource management, entrepreneurship, higher education, digital transformation, work readiness, organisational behaviour, and teaching innovation. She is committed to bridging academic theory with industry practice, preparing future-ready graduates, and fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and lifelong learning.
